IMMERSIONS – the European Hybrid Music Network for Cultural Peripheries – emerged as a collaborative effort of four organisations in the electronic music scene: FOMO_ (Poland), Monument (Norway), Gare (Portugal), and Kablys (Lithuania). The project's primary aim is to enhance working and living opportunities for music professionals by providing a robust network and cooperation platform that empowers artists and industry experts, fostering growth and success.
The project fosters equal access and participation in cultural activities for audiences from all walks of life. With aspirations to transcend geographical and economic boundaries, IMMERSIONS promotes inclusion and diversity within the realm of cultural experiences.
IMMERSIONS builds hybrid communications for and with artists; striving for inclusion of the cultural peripheries onto the map of the centralisation-oriented music sector; creating and cultivating new connections in order to build resilience and horizontally-led networks.
This collective effort paves the way for a more cohesive, prosperous, and inclusive cultural landscape across Europe.
